New Issues 2016: Part Five

The final new issues of 2016.

A set of four stamps commemorating Irish Lighthouses. A special booklet was also issued.

And the Christmas stamps were the final issue of 2016. A 72 cents stamp was only available in booklets (26 stamps per booklet). For the convenience of collectors, the stamp was available in pairs at the Philatelic Counter in Dublin. Two designs were available as “Stamps On A Roll” (SOAR) at post offices. The stamps in the pic below depict the designs as national and international rate. The SOAR stamps were bought in Lifford, County Donegal.
